City Way School of Motoring prides itself in offering first class driving tuition in the Medway Towns, Rochester, Gillingham, Gravesend, Sittingbourne and Maidstone area's, delivering structured driving lessons, tailored to your individual requirements.

Through our structured driving lessons, we provide you with all the necessary skills needed to pass your driving test. To become a safe, competent driver and providing you with the confidence, to be able to easily cope with today's congested, complex road and traffic systems.

Your driving lessons will be delivered personally by Gary Smith. Gary is a fully qualified driving standards agency (DSA)  grade 6 driving instructor. (Highest Grade)

 

He Has Passed both Driving Instructor Association ( DIA ) and Institute of advance motorists (IAM) Advanced Driving test.

His value for money driving lessons, will guide you step-by-step through the process of passing your driving test, gaining your driving licence, in a time scale, suited to your individual requirements.

 

Driving lessons are to be carried out in a modern dual controlled, air conditioned, manual transmission

Volkswagon Golf 1.6 TDI BlueMotion vehicle (Diesel). As you would expect, the car is fully insured for tuition and serviced to Volkswagon's recommended service plan.

Gary also has full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance for your total security.

Your driving lessons will be given full attention as unlike some other instructors, Gary never answers his mobile phone during your driving lesson. His phone is diverted, to his call Telephone support staff resulting in no distractions to yourself.

 

Driving Instructors have to attend a test of continued ability and fitness to give driving tuition, often within the industry, referred to as a check test. Driving Instructors are then graded as follows:

 

Grade 1 = Overall standard of instruction extremely poor or dangerous with incorrect or even dangerous instruction.

 

Grade 2 = A poor overall performance with numerous deficiencies in instructional technique.

 

Grade 3 = An inadequate overall performance with some deficiencies in instructional technique.

 

Grade 4 = A competent overall performance with some minor weakness in instructional technique.

 

Grade 5 = A good overall standard of instruction with some minor weakness in instructional technique.

 

Grade 6 = Overall performance to a very high standard with no significant instructional weakness. There are Currently around 35,000 driving instructors in the UK, ONLY around 6% are graded a 6 (2100)
