Automatic Driving Lessons Medway – Your N0 1 Route To A 1st Time Pass!

Automatic Driving Lessons are available in a Dual Controlled Hyundai Kona EV. 

Take the stress out of learning to drive, automatic vehicles are much easier to drive than manual transmission vehicles, no more worrying about stalling the car in busy traffic, or have you selected the correct gear, you can just concentrate 100% on the important aspects of driving including steering, accelerating, slowing down the car, whilst spending more time planning on what’s going on outside of the car, therefore arriving at the approaching hazard at the correct speed. The car takes care of the correct gear for you.

It should be noted that when you pass your automatic driving test, you can’t drive a manual car and would need to do a manual test to do so.

At City Way School of Motoring, we believe that you, the client dictates the way your driving lessons proceed. Everyone learns in many ways and to learn to drive is no different. Everyone taking driving lessons will learn to drive at their speed. At City Way School of Motoring, we understand this and will therefore tailor your driving lessons to your requirements. We will help you master the controls of the car, build your confidence, and teach you to drive safely with a skill for life so you can pass your driving test with ease, as many of our past clients who pass their driving test 1st time.

The Future

2030 will bring an end to purchasing NEW Petrol or Diesel Internal combustion Engine (ICE) manual or automatic cars, from then ALL-NEW vehicles sold will be electric. Electric cars will all be automatic (Hybrid vehicles – Petrol/electric can be bought up to 2035 again these vehicles are all automatic)

It will no doubt take in the region of 20 years for Manual transmission petrol and diesel cars to slowly get phased out due to age or any new government regulations that may be rolled out in the years to come.

City Way School of Motoring has now decided that it’s the right time to invest in the modern technology that electric vehicles have, we are now teaching automatic driving lessons in a fully electric Hyundai Kona EV. Mileage Range is now not an issue with the newer electric vehicles, with these vehicles being able to complete around 300 miles before requiring a charge. Electric vehicles have zero emissions and are smooth and very easy to drive but also fun to drive.

Once you have passed your driving test, transitioning to driving your petrol, diesel automatic car will be straightforward.

Fast Track your Driving Lesson Performance – Leading To Test Standard Earlier!

The easiest way to understand where a learner driver may be going wrong within their driving lessons is to be able to help them visualise a situation and be able to accurately work through the relevant weak areas, to understand and be able to put right the errors fully, the next time they may arise.

Video Footage on Your Driving Lessons

That’s why we use video footage. My Tuition vehicle is fitted with Front and rear-facing HD video cameras. They are not visible from within the vehicle as they are behind the interior mirror and rear window. (Pupils are briefed on its use and are shown the cameras) The video cameras are used within your driving lessons when appropriate to highlight any areas of driving that may require addressing. We can easily download the video footage within seconds, replay the driving lesson footage and use it to get the pupil to understand how they could have dealt with a situation differently or reinforce where good driving practices have been shown.

Pupils often inform me that they don’t understand when it’s safe to enter a roundabout, as drivers often don’t indicate as they should. So by replaying the driving lesson footage and reviewing it in slow motion, we can easily give the pupil the correct understanding of how they can make the correct decisions and be safe. This, therefore, speeds up the learning process.

Pupils often inform me that their understanding is improved as they can easily visualise a given situation. They can work out ways to improve how they would approach the same situation next time. This, therefore, leads to the learner driver being able to start thinking for themselves and making the correct decisions earlier, making them safer drivers.

My First Driving Lessons with City Way School of Motoring – Hannah Martin from Rochester

I initially approached City Way School of Motoring, due to the professionalism of his website and my dealings with his office whilst he was teaching. I have found the office staff to be very helpful.

Having had some previous experience of driving, I found my driving lessons with Gary, were very good, and much more instructive than with my previous driving Instructor.
