Driving Lessons Lordswood. Congratulations to Nikki Royle from Lordswood, who Passed her Practical Driving Test on Thursday 22nd November 2016 at the Gillingham Test Centre, with her Driving Instructor Gary Smith from City Way School of Motoring.

Nikki started her Driving Lessons, with City Way School of Motoring having had some driving experience with other local driving instructors. Nikki regularly had lots of private practice with the help of her mum. Nikki  just needed pointing in the right direction, with some changes to her driving in particular to read the road situations further ahead. This helps you see situations ahead earlier and gives you more time to plan how you are going to deal with any given situation.

Nikki progressed very well, picking up the skills required to be a safe and confident driver.

Nikki’s motivation to gain her driving licence was that she already had her car at home and wanted the freedom to drive to work on her own, including the freedom to drive where she wanted, when she wanted.

Test Day came and the dreaded nerves started to develop. We took a break and went for a coffee and talked things through and brought Nikki back to a focused mindset, which resulted in getting her driving back to where we knew it should be.

We arrived at the Gillingham Test Centre with a focused approach and Nikki Nailed her driving test with a 1st Time Pass and only 4 minor errors – Fantastic result – well done Nikki
