Bow-Waters Roundabout – Gillingham to M2

Bow-Waters Roundabout in Gillingham.

Gillingham towards M2 Exit

Bow-Waters roundabout, tends to cause some pupils a few problems as it can be a little confusing. Hopefully this video, and the others that I will complete shortly will help, remove any confusion, that may be present.

The Driving Examiner will advise you, that it’s best to approach the roundabout via the middle lane. This is completed by initially approaching from the left lane. (not right)

Lane discipline is essential on this roundabout, When entering the roundabout, make sure you stay in the middle lane, after passing the 2nd set of traffic lights, check your interior mirror and left mirror and drive towards the M2 sign, which will lead you safely into the left lane.

Its important that you do move over into the left Lane at this point, otherwise you will prevent someone in the right lane, drift into the middle lane.

After passing Tesco’s and the traffic lights, check your mirrors and exit indicating left.

Build your speed to 50mph (if safe) and follow your next set of instructions.

Further videos will be added very shortly.
