Congratulations to Amanda Cobb, who passed her Practical Driving Test on Tuesday 8th March 2016 1st time at the Gillingham Test Centre with her Driving Instructor Gary Smith from City Way School of Motoring.

Amanda, started her driving lessons with me with some driving experience.

Amanda was always keen to learn and continued to flourish. The key here is regular driving lessons and Amanda maintained regular weekly driving lessons, she was keen to learn and progressed well throughout her driving lessons. In the last few weeks, everything has started to come together with Amanda starting to make sensible decisions whilst driving.

Amanda’s biggest hurdle was herself, as she often felt she was not good enough to pass the driving test, but improvements were always being made.

Test Day came along and Amanda went to the Driving Test centre with a determined approach. Amanda stayed focused and produced one of her best drives with the result she totally deserved  ‘ A 1st Time Pass with ONLY 3 minor errors ‘.

It was great to watch Amanda grow into a confident, mature driver and I’m proud of her achievement.

Amanda now has her sights on buying her own car, and is now looking forward to being totally independent and looking forward to the normal everyday things that we all take for granted, taking the kids to school and days out.

” I found City Way School of Motoring via an internet search and read the feedback and thought, this is the company that I want to learn to drive with.

I was expecting that learning to drive and Pass my Driving Test would have been harder, but Gary was amazing and talked me through everything 🙂 Gary was very patient with me and I wasn’t the easiest of pupils but 10/10 for the methods used to explain and teach.

I really can’t believe that I went from a person with no confidence, with no get up and go, to a person that was so confident behind the wheel of Gary’s car and that is all down to Gary. He makes you feel at ease and comfortable with every driving lesson. I would 100% recommend City Way School of Motoring and have already started to do so. 

Since passing my Driving test 1st Time, I have bought myself a little Nissan Micra and I couldn’t be happier. My two children are also happier as we can now just get up and go, with no waiting for buses, trains or lifts. we have so much more freedom to go where we want, when we want. “
