Vakare Staskeviciu – Driving Lessons Rochester

Vee began her driving lessons with City Way School of Motoring, having driven a couple of times with family.

Vee who has ADHD and dyslexia found driving very challenging, However Vee, never let this stop her, if she found something difficult, we would work through options to make the outcome safer and therefore, she soon realised that she can do it. We took things nice and slow and built upon her successes and her progress began to shine.

Vee benefitted from some additional driving in-between her driving lessons and would always update me on her performance, often pointing out the errors other drivers would make.

One of the ways Vee would deal with any anxiety, was she would talk. However, we had to train Vakare when to stop talking, so she could concentrate on her driving. Driving lessons were always fun.

Test day came and Vee, was not worried at all, She had a great drive with her examiner, and started to change the examiners opinion of electric cars, by explaining all the benefits. This put her at ease and she sailed through her driving test and passed 1st time with Zero faults. The examiner was very impressed with her performance and her relaxed approach to driving.

This proves that whatever challenges an individual may have, a can-do attitude and an attitude of “I’m going to do my best and accept that we don’t have to be perfect to be successful” go a long way toward reaching your goals.

Vee is hoping to get her car on the road very soon. This will help with her imminent new job. Vee, best wishes and happy motoring. Stay safe :)

Most Incredible driving instructor ever !!!

He is so patient and goes through everything in detail making sure you’re test ready.

Without Gary I don’t know how I would have passed and I’m forever grateful.

Gutted that I’ve now passed, which means no more driving lessons, as we had an absolute blast, it didn’t feel like a lesson and he ALWAYS made sure to tailor the lessons to my additional needs.

He can also crack a funny joke once in a while !!
