Congratulations to Amanda Cobb on passing her Practical Driving Test on the first attempt at the Gillingham Test Centre with her Driving Instructor, Gary Smith, from City Way School of Motoring.
Amanda had some previous driving experience when she started taking lessons with me. She was always eager to learn and continued to improve. The key to her success was regular driving lessons, and Amanda maintained regular weekly lessons. She made steady progress throughout her lessons and began to make informed decisions while driving.
Amanda’s biggest challenge was her self-doubt. She often felt that she needed to improve to pass the driving test, but she was constantly improving.
On the day of the test, Amanda approached the driving test centre with determination. She stayed focused and produced one of her best drives, which resulted in her passing the test on the first attempt with only three minor errors.
It was a pleasure to watch Amanda grow into a confident, mature driver, and I am proud of all that she has achieved. Amanda is now planning to buy a car and looks forward to enjoying the independence that comes with it.

I found City Way School of Motoring via an internet search, read the feedback, and thought, this is the company I want to learn to drive with.
I expected learning to drive and passing my Driving Test to be harder, but Gary was amazing and talked me through everything. :) Gary was very patient with me, and I wasn’t the easiest of pupils, but 10/10 for the methods used to explain and teach.
I really can’t believe that I went from a person with no confidence, with no get-up and go, to a person who was so confident behind the wheel of Gary’s car, and that is all down to Gary. He makes you feel at ease and comfortable with every driving lesson. I would 100% recommend City Way School of Motoring and have already started to do so.
Since passing my Driving test 1st Time, I have bought myself a little Nissan Micra and couldn’t be happier. My two children are also happier as we can now get up and go without waiting for buses, trains or lifts. We have so much more freedom to go where and when we want. “
