Congratulations to Andrew Longhurst, who passed his Practical Driving Test for the first time at the Gillingham Test Centre with his Driving Instructor Gary Smith from City Way School of Motoring.
Andrew started his driving lessons with me many years ago, having some driving experience. For various reasons, his driving lessons stopped. Like everyone, his situation changed, and the need to drive surfaced again. That’s when I met Andrew.
Andrew was keen to drive, so he had regular weekly driving lessons. Andrew’s main issue with his driving was a lack of confidence in his ability. Andrew was always better than he felt he was.
As his Driving Test day approached, Andrew’s driving started to come together in the weeks before his test.
Test Day came along, and Andrew determinedly approached the Driving Test centre. Andrew stayed focused and produced one of his best drives with the result he deserved ‘ A 1st Time Pass ‘
It was great watching Andrew grow into a confident, mature driver, and I’m proud of his achievements.
Andrew already has his car sourced; he must deliver it from his parents’ house. Andrew is looking forward to the rewards that Passing His Driving Test has given him. days out with his daughter without the need to organise lifts or be tied to the bus timetable. The Freedom passing his driving test now means he can go where he wants when he wants.
Congratulations, Andrew, a genuinely well-deserved result. Well done.
