Angelique Shelley – Driving Lessons Chatham

Angelique started her driving lessons with us having had some previous experience. During her driving lessons, Angelique suffered from anxiety and confidence issues, but with our help, she over time managed to learn to keep it more under control.

As Angelique embarked on her automatic driving lessons, she quickly realised that planning was the key to a more stress-free driving experience. Learning to make better decisions, earlier, considering the ever-changing road conditions, she gradually transformed into a safe driver, who was better prepared for today’s complex roads.

With the support of her husband, Ben, who spend an initial driving lesson in the back of my tuition vehicle, establishing what we are working on, and areas where Angelique could improve, to allow him to support Angelique in a way, that wasn’t changing what we had taught. Ben spend many a weekend offering support, which assisted in Angelique’s performance and confidence.

The lead-up to her driving test brought challenges as test day nerves began to kick in. however Angelique found a way to manage these nerves and still apply the skills we had learnt.

On the day of her test, Angelique demonstrated an incredible drive, passing her driving test on the first attempt with only three driver error. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the power of a focused mindset in achieving your goals and having a ‘Can do it’ attitude. I’m sure Ben is pleased as Angelique can now share the driving on their days out.
