Alex Bromley from Rochester

Congratulations to Alex Bromley, who passed his Practical Driving Test first time at the Gillingham Test Centre with his Driving Instructor, Gary Smith, from City Way School of Motoring.

Alex started his driving lessons with me with limited driving experience. He had a few driving lessons when he was 17 but could not afford to continue.

Alex was always keen to learn and continued to flourish. The key here is regular driving lessons, and Alex maintained regular weekly driving lessons. He was keen to learn and progressed well throughout his lessons. In the last two weeks, everything has started to come together, with Alex starting to make informed decisions whilst driving.

Test Day came along, and Alex went to the Driving Test Centre with a very mature approach, a small blip to the usual test day procedure with the Gillingham Test Centre closed with Legionnaires disease. The Driving Test took place at the local VOSA site. Alex stayed focused and produced one of his best drives, which was the result he deserved: ‘ A 1st Time Pass with ONLY 4 minor errors ‘.

It was great watching Alex grow into a confident, mature driver, and I’m proud of his achievements.

Alex already has his eyes on his first car and was planning a trip to the Peugeot dealership in Rochester the same day to buy/order his brand-new car. Alex can’t wait to stop using the bus to work, especially as the weather gets colder and winter takes hold.

Congratulations, Alex, a truly well-deserved result. Well done.
