Sophie contacted City Way School of Motoring to commence driving lessons as she had no driving experience. The lessons followed a structured approach, starting with quiet side roads and gradually introducing more challenging situations as her confidence and ability improved.
As is typical for new drivers, Sophie’s primary weakness was not anticipating situations far enough ahead and staring instead of looking ahead. Our expert team worked with Sophie to transfer the essential skills required to plan, allowing her to observe developing problems, make informed decisions, and respond appropriately. Due to her meticulous planning, her ability and confidence improved as the driving lessons progressed.
On the test day, Sophie approached the Gillingham Test Centre with a focused and determined mindset. Her efforts paid off as she passed her driving test on the first attempt.
